Grabbed this little top at the last Closet Clear-out in Dublin. I had originally wanted a proper sailor dress but I don't think I could pull it off, so this was a good compromise.

Absolutely loving my internship so far, dream job! That combined with the amazing weather, and the fact that I'm off to Amsterdam in a week, means I'm a happy lady.

Finally, the sun is shining and warm in Dublin! Granted, this summer won't last long, but it's good to enjoy it while it's here.

I am absolutely loving Stellar, it's really reinforcing my idea of what I want to do when I leave college. Luckily, our shoot tomorrow is beach-based so I'll get to enjoy more of this weather.

Being constantly surrounded by beautiful clothes and jewellery however, I can see my shopping habit spiralling out of control soon..

(Also, excuse Coco, she insisted on being involved as always.)

So, for the exciting news. Today was my first day as a Fashion Intern at Stellar, one of the top Irish fashion magazines out there. I was really happy and surprised to be offered the internship, it happened so suddenly, and I'm so excited to work there for the next six weeks. After that, I'm interning at Thinkhouse PR for a month, a really awesome Irish PR company dealing with some really brands (you've probably seen their events mentioned here numerous times!) So it'll be a busy, but fulfilling summer.

This is just what I wore today, the amount of walking involved in pulling clothes for shoots (and dropping them back!) obviously requires comfort, and my own tastes obviously require simplicity..so there you go.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted these pants hanging on a sale rack in Primark a couple of weeks ago..the quality, print, everything just seems so much grander than the €12 price tag. They are a little big, and are currently safety-pinned around my waist, but that's nothing a good tailor can't fix.

I'm dying to wear them with white plimsolls and the crop top shown in my last post, but for this unusually cold May, I though a black base would be perfect to set them off. I was also excited to finally show my patent Topshop loafers in a post, they're incredibly uncomfortable but also my dream shoe. Nobody's perfect.

I have some ridiculously exciting news to share, that I think I will leave until my next post, so stay tuned! Big things ahead.

My exams are over - they finished on Friday, so elated feelings all around. I got this little crop top as a post-exam reward for myself; I wasn't sure how I felt about crop tops, but I've realised there are two conditions under which I will wear one - firstly, that no bellybutton is showing, and secondly, that it's a sporty, rather than girly, shape. So this one obviously fit the bill.

I wore this out the other night, and I was in a rush to take photos (what's new..) and forgot to change my ISO and white balance back to their normal settings, so apologies for that one.

I plan on spending today tackling the ever-expanding floordrobe in my bedroom. So good to be free from study!

3 exams down, 2 to go..roll on next Friday. They've been fine so far, so here's hoping that trend continues!

The lovely people at Sugarlips Apparel sent me this fur vest, I was so excited when it arrived the other day. The pattern of the fur is pretty unique, and I certainly wasn't expecting the lovely chiffon lining. As fur vests go, this one is like wearing an aesthetically pleasing fur blanket, and I'm pretty thankful for it considering the ridiculously cold May we are having.

I'm getting my hair done soon, cut and colour. When I had my roots dyed in last time, they weren't quite right..they're about two shades darker and a lot more coppery than my natural dark ashy blonde. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

PS. Excuse the exam face.

Sugarlips Apparel sent me this vest for free, but as I've said in my disclaimer, I turn down any offer of gifts or advertising from companies I don't have a genuine interest in. My good review is based on the fact that this is something I would have bought for myself anyway, not merely because it was sent to me. :)
